Libertango I’m having a lot of fun recording myself practicing this on Rocksmith with OBS

There are some BIG missing parts of Rocksmith2014 - that are easily fixed.

Since Rocksmith2014 does not have replay to listen to yourself - it’s very easy to misjudge the sound of your playing. You may get an accurate score but you are playing too hard or sloppy without regard to softening your touch. In fact - Rocksmith will reward you with a better score if you play everything very loud and robotic

But - if you turn the track song off for a few practice sessions of a song - listen to the replay that you record with OBS - you can fix the missing feature.

Also discipline yourself to upload your best raw - just guitar Rocksmith practice obs videos ——-> somewhere public on your social media

This will motivate you to stop bingeing on the dopamine high of just getting a good score in Rocksmith - and you will start refining the sound of your play. Learn the riff in Rocksmith Riff Repeater - then play it like Jay Neubauer does - with a backing track that had guitar removed. Then you will not have to be a robot to the chart because you will not have to play exactly like the guitar on track. Let go of the training wheels of Rocksmith as often as you can.
