“The Fantastic Plastics are a New New Wave / CyberPunk / SciFi Rock band. They write and record original music and have toured nationally. They were featured on VANS Warped Tour and have performed at festivals including SXSW,
Northside Festival, CMJ Music Marathon, Pygmalion Festival, and more. The Fantastic Plastics are often compared to 1980s New Wave acts like DEVO, The B-52s, Blondie and more. Their music is composed of infused analog synths, gritty guitar riffs, and dance beats.
Not only are they a band, but over the last 2+years, they have also morphed into a multi-media visual/audio art show on Twitch with interactive visuals and video instillations designed by the 3rd band member Chicken Burger Disco.
They play occasional IRL shows and also incorporate the visual artistry and interactivity at the shows.
Tyson Plastic plays Apex Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch, and other games. Miranda Plastic is into retro games like Super Mario and Sonic. Miranda is also into crafts and fashion design. Their dog and mascot, Ziggy Plastic, is into cuddles and toys.”
