My husband - is a guitar collector and tech hobbyist and I am a guitar student that loves to collect every tech PC toy that is available for the dedicated bedroom musician.
I have no desire to be in a band. However, I do like to record and create my own songs and just enjoy the process of learning everything - vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards - to create my own 3 minute songs. Rocksmith2014 has been my favorite program for practicing for the last 2 years.
My husband and I had an eBay store that sold boutique guitars mostly to buyers not in USA for several years just as a hobby and so I could try lots of different guitars.
It takes me at least a month of experience with a guitar at home to decide if it’s a guitar that I will continue to play. Being able to sell barely used or refurbished guitars - allowed me to try out many different guitars, allowed my husband to collect and work on many different guitars.
We tried many different guitar strings and currently - my favorite for playing Rocksmith electric guitar - on a Fender Strat, Telecaster, PRS, Rickenbacker or Ed Roman Baker guitar is
